Ablative Coated Batts
Ablative coated batts are slabs of high-density rock wool. They are used to fill voids and create a seal around service penetrations, preventing the spread of flames through fire-resistant walls and floors where a building’s services pass through. They are effective in both masonry and drywall applications, with the added benefits of providing further insulation for smoke and sound.
Fire Intumescent Sealant & Coatings
Fire Intumescent Sealant & Coatings are a fire stopping resource for thin linear joints as part of the fire protection system. They efficiently reinstate the fire performance of compartment walls and floors where apertures are penetrated by multiple services. In addition to providing an effective fire and smoke sealant solution, the Intumescent Sealant provides excellent acoustic performance by sealing linear gaps. They are available in 310ml cartridges and 600ml foils.
Pipe Collars & Wraps
Firestop pipe collars were developed to be the most modern fire defence method for combustible pipes. As a flexible and versatile material, these can be fitted to suit a range of pipe sizes and even the most complex plastic pipe systems to offer up to 4 hours of fire protection.
Trapezoidal Firestop
Firestop Blocks are used to firestop profiles in roofing, cladding and composite floor decking. The blocks are manufactured to suit the specific trapezoidal shape. The width is determined by the fire rating of the masonry wall. When firestopping steel beams or plasterboard partitions the block must fill the full width of the beam or partition.
Cavity Barriers & SP
Cavity Firestop is used to prevent the spread of fire to adjoining compartments in external cavities, both horizontally and vertically to provide up to 2 hours protection in curtain walling, cladding, masonry, brick and block constructions.
Putty Pads
Intumescent Putty Pads surround plastic or electrical sockets, providing 2 hours of fire protection. As a flexible material, application is as precise as possible to create the most effective seal. They have the benefit of providing insulation for sound where the socket box has penetrated the wall, whilst preventing the spread of flames.
Fire Compound
Fire compounds are specially formulated compounds that are mixed with water to surround service penetrations. When set, they provide a fire proof seal around pipes and ducts, and its formless structure before setting allows it to create a completely void free seal, even around cables. These compounds provide the added benefits of a barrier against smoke and sound.
Blue 60
Blue 60 is a specially formulated expanding foam that when used in conjunction with fire rated packers gives up to 60 minutes fire protection to timber doorsets.
